Call for views and evidence: Cosmetic procedures

Open until 18 March 2016.

The Nuffield Council on Bioethics is seeking input from a wide range of people and organisations to inform its current project exploring ethical and social questions raised by the growing use of cosmetic procedures.

A short online survey has been launched which seeks to gather personal views on issues around cosmetic procedures – go to survey.

A call for more substantial comments and evidence is also open to anyone who wishes to contribute on a wider range of questions that the Working Party is interested in, including on the following topics:

• Definitions and aims
• Increasing demand for cosmetic procedures
• The supply and regulation of cosmetic procedures
• Different parts of the body
