Job: fixed term lectureship in medical law and ethics at NUI Galway

Lecturer Fixed Term in Medical Law

The Discipline of Medicine invites applications for the above part-time Lecturer Fixed Term position to teach medical law and medical ethics to medical students

In addition to lecturing responsibilities, the successful candidate will contribute to administration, deliver and co-ordinate modules, prepare teaching materials and support and supervise students.

Candidates for this position will have normally, a PhD (or equivalent) in Medicine or a related discipline, have experience in teaching medical law/ethics to undergraduate students, be able to work as a member of a team and autonomously.

This is a one year appointment effective from on or before 8th July 2013 to 1st January 2015.

Salary: €36,230 – €51,104 pro rata p.a. (Post Jan 2011 entrants)

(This appointment will be made on the scale in line with current Government pay policy)
