Job: Lecturer in Bioethics and Social Sciences

£36,715 – £46,510 pa

We are looking for an individual to join a team delivering the bioethics and social sciences components of the MBChB curriculum. The role will include teaching at undergraduate level, development and maintenance of the curriculum, exam setting and marking, attendance at appropriate curriculum meetings, working in conjunction with other academic leads and undertaking your own research in line with the Department of Health Services Research and the Institute of Psychology, Health and Society.

You should have a higher degree within the social sciences and, or bioethics and have an understanding of ethics and social sciences within medicine. Experience of teaching at undergraduate or postgraduate level and have a proven track record of research is essential.
