Applications are invited for a Lectureship/Senior Lectureship (UEO8/UE09) in the School of Law from candidates with core research interests in technology law and further interests in at least one of the following fields: e-commerce, intellectual property law, media law and medical law.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the School’s teaching programme, particularly at post graduate level, and to undertake doctoral supervision.

Applications would be particularly welcome from individuals with experience in practice and demonstrated success in research and publishing is essential. It is expected that the successful candidate will play an integral part in the work of the School of Law’s AHRC/SCRIPT research centre and will undertake a key role in the Centre’s Directorate.

The position is available from 5 January 2011.

Appointment will be on an open-ended basis on either the UOE8 scale [£36,715-£43,840] or UE09 scale [£46,510-£52,347] depending on the leadership experience, academic profile and research portfolio of the successful candidate.

Salary Scale: £36,715 – £43,840 (UE08) or £46,510 – £52,347 (UE09)
