This interactive workshop will look at possible threats to personal autonomy posed by different kinds of intellectual disabilities and consider ways of forestalling these threats, in light of alternative theories of autonomy. It will aim to provide a forum for constructive dialogue between academics and professionals from a variety of intellectual backgrounds. Attendance is free, however, places are limited.
