Some of you may have seen an earlier documentary series about the children’s hospice Helen House. This programme is a follow-up filmed in 2008:
“Documentary about a centre which provides care for children with life-shortening conditions. Helen House has revolutionised the care of sick children around the world, offering support for those with life-limiting illnesses. The philosophy of its founder Sister Frances Dominic, is that a short life does not have to be an unhappy one. Following the success of the series, the team returned for three months in 2008 to witness the new life-and-death issues faced by the families and staff.”
