Lectureships (Teaching Focused) in Medical Law and Bio-Ethics

The University of Manchester invites applications for two half-time one year appointments in medical law and bio-ethics within the School of Law. One of the posts is tenable from April/May 2009 and the other from June/July 2009. The appointees will be required to provide research informed teaching for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in health care law and ethics, both on campus and within the Centre’s Distance Learning MA. You will have a Masters in law and bioethics or have equivalent professional experience, have teaching experience or excellent presentation skills, with the ability to supervise undergraduate and Master’s dissertations and contribute to teaching on core courses on the School’s LLB degree, as well as undertake related duties as required.
